What Is P-DTR?
Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex (P-DTR) was developed by orthopedic surgeon Dr. José Palomar. It is built on a foundational insight: sensory receptor input — and how the brain processes it — directly determines neuromuscular function throughout the body. When proprioceptive feedback is distorted, motor control breaks down, and pain and dysfunction follow.
P-DTR uses a precise system of muscle testing and neural challenges to locate and correct dysfunctional sensory receptors, rapidly restoring normal function and resolving pain at its source.
Most therapies address the body's "hardware." P-DTR addresses the software — the nervous system's own coding. This is why patients who have tried other treatments without lasting relief often find answers here.
The P-DTR process is fast, non-invasive, and produces lasting results. Once a dysfunctional sensory channel is corrected, it remains corrected — unless new trauma occurs. Each session systematically resolves the layers contributing to your symptoms, moving you toward lasting resolution rather than temporary relief.
